Small House Carpentry & The Missing Piece

Small House Carpentry is a building and remodeling business that was started here in Vermont 10 years ago by Adam Marsano. 

Adam's vision was to start a company that offered quality work at a reasonable price, with environmental sustainability in mind.

The business has evolved over the years with the primary focus now being on the provision of reclaimed lumber and the production of custom furniture.

Vermont Barns & Reclaimed Wood

We dismantle one to two hundred year old Vermont barns. Ideally they would all be maintained as they are an iconic part of our states history -unfortunately this is not the case. By carefully deconstructing the structure, we are able to preserve a multitude of materials which would otherwise be lost. The process of deconstruction is complex and arduous, but the end product makes it all worthwhile.
