Our Materials

You may notice that some of our pieces have that "weathered" look to them.  At Small House Carpentry, we do our best to be "green " whenever possible, and this includes using recycled materials in our projects.  Some clients choose to retain the old world feel of the material by simply using a finish that brings out the beauty of the aged piece of wood, while others choose to have us refinish the pieces and bring the life back to them.  Whatever you choose, we will not be satisfied with the full outcome of your project until you are, guaranteed!
